CCAF Launches Holiday Giving Programs to Support Families in Need
Toronto, ON — [December 3, 2025] — The Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation (CCAF) is proud to kick off its annual Christmas Giving Season, bringing hope and joy to families served by the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CCAS). With the generosity of our community, we ensure that children, youth, and families can celebrate the holidays with dignity and warmth. Every year, hundreds of families face financial hardship during the holiday season. Through CCAF’s holiday programs, donors help provide food, household essentials, clothing, gift cards, and toys—making the season brighter for those who need it most.
Two Ways to Make a Difference
1. Adopt-a-Family Program
For over 15 years, this cherished tradition has connected compassionate donors with families supported by CCAS. Participants receive a family’s wish list, shop for food, clothing, and gifts, and deliver their donations to 2206 Eglinton Avenue East by December 13. Your kindness transforms a challenging time into a memorable holiday.
2. Christmas Donation Program
Help us spread holiday cheer by contributing new, unwrapped toys, clothing, and household items—or make a secure financial donation to fund gift cards and gifts. These contributions support holiday lunches and provide essentials to families in need.
Together, we can ensure Catholic children, youth, and families experience the joy and hope of Christmas.

Also, Special Shout-Out: Coats for Kids
Students from Northmount School and De La Salle College “Oaklands” are joining forces for the second year to provide new winter coats to children most in need. With the support of private donors, charitable institutions, and the Knights of Columbus, who matched every box of coats raised, this year’s campaign delivered 384 coats to CCAS families. On December 4, 2024, at 9:00 AM, student representatives will deliver the coats to the CCAS office at 2206 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto.
