Phil has been involved in the Canadian real estate business for more than 40 years and has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate and mortgage lending. Phil retired in November 2019 and at that time was Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at BentallGreenOak, a member of the Sun Life group of companies. Prior to joining Sun Life in 1998, Phil was an Executive Vice President at The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited where he was responsible for development and leasing activities in Canada. Phil joined Cadillac Fairview in 1979.
Phil has been an active member of the Catholic community in Toronto, participating in the Sharelife Corporate Campaign and he chaired the Building Committee at Blessed Sacrament Parish for many years
Phil remains active on 2 investment committees at BentallGreenOak and he sits on the board of MCAN Mortgage Corporation, Toronto Artscape Incorporated, the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto and the Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation.
