Celebrating Pride Month: Embracing Inclusion and Support @ CCAS

As we enter the vibrant and empowering month of Pride, we want to take a moment to celebrate and acknowledge the unique journeys and experiences of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. Pride Month provides us with an opportunity to come together and embrace the values of diversity, inclusion, and acceptance.

At CCAS, we strive to provide safe, nurturing, and equitable support for children, youth, and families in the Catholic community of Toronto. We are committed to creating an environment where every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, feels respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves.

Pride Month allows us to shine a light on the incredible contributions and resilience of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. It is a time to honour the progress that has been made and to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done in achieving true equality and understanding.

We want you to know that CCAS stands beside you, offering unwavering support, compassion, and a commitment to providing inclusive services and supports.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we continue to provide learnings to our staff about Sexual Orientation, Identity, and Expression (SOGIE), ensuring that they have the knowledge and tools to provide the necessary support. We believe that by reducing stigma, promoting understanding, and embracing diversity, we create a stronger and more inclusive CCAS.
