Catholic Children's Aid Foundation

The Catholic Children’s Aid Foundation (CCAF) is the registered charity affiliated with the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CCAS). It is dedicated to fundraising in support of CCAS’s work with vulnerable children, youth, and families. While government funding provides essential services, it often falls short of covering urgent and unexpected needs. Rooted in the Vincentian values of compassion, humility, and generosity, CCAF provides both short-term funding for urgent needs and significant grants to develop programs that improve the child welfare system.

Through donor contributions, CCAF helps fund critical programs that offer immediate relief and long-term support to those in need, including emergency assistance for food, rent, and utilities, medical and dental care, and cribs for newborns. They also fund the Adopt-a-Family program, bringing joy to thousands of families during Christmas, and provide scholarships to help youth in care pursue higher education and build brighter futures. Additionally, CCAF supports innovative initiatives that strengthen child welfare services, including programs that help young people transition out of care, promote family preservation, and engage male caregivers in safe and meaningful ways.

Every donation to CCAF directly impacts the lives of children and families, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
