What We Do
Services for Children, Youth and Families
Strengthening Families
As part of our mission, we strengthen families by providing them with services and supports to help children and youth remain in their own home.
We provide mandated services under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA).
In certain circumstances there may be a need to bring a child or youth into the care of the Society for their safety and wellbeing.
We collaborate with many community partners across the Greater Toronto Area to provide programs and services to Catholic children, young people and families. Some of these supports include connecting service recipients who have complex special needs, including fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, to services in the community like COTA and Surrey Place.
We provide Francophone, Catholic families in Toronto referrals to supports and services in their language of origin. We are committed to providing child protection services in your preferred language and referrals to French language community partners who can support you and your family. If you would like to receive services in French or prefer to speak with someone in French, please indicate your preference when calling our agency. You can also visit our French website for more information.
