March 2–8, 2026 marks Social Work Week in Ontario, a province‑wide recognition of the critical contributions social workers make in strengthening communities. This year’s theme — Care. Insight. Together. — reflects the core values that guide the profession and the transformative impact social workers have each day.
Across Ontario, social workers bring a unique blend of compassion, clinical expertise, and unwavering commitment to supporting individuals and families. Their work is grounded in dignity, empathy, and a deep understanding of the complex challenges children, youth, and families face. Whether advancing mental health and well‑being, advocating for safety, or helping families build resilience, social workers play an essential role in creating safer and healthier communities.
At CCAS, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the many social workers who contribute to our mission. We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated staff — and to social workers across the province — for their professionalism, leadership, and steadfast support of those we serve. Their efforts and insight shape positive outcomes and help create meaningful, lasting change.
This March, we join the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) in honouring the dedication, resilience, and humanity that define the profession. When care and insight come together, change truly happens — and our communities are stronger for it.
