As we step into Social Work Week (March 3–9) and National Social Work Month, we take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the incredible dedication, skill, and compassion that each of our staff brings to their work every day.
This year’s theme, “Wherever You Are, So Are We,” is a perfect reflection of the work we do at CCAS. Across the Catholic community, our service teams are making a profound difference in the lives of children, youth, and families—meeting them where they are, when they need us most.
Our staff’s versatility and expertise shine in so many ways:
✔ Supporting families through challenges and helping them build stronger, healthier futures
✔ Working in schools, ensuring children have the stability and resources they need to succeed
✔ Providing crisis support in police stations, standing by children and families during critical moments
✔ Supervising access visits, creating safe spaces for children to maintain meaningful family connections
✔ Advocating for youth in foster care, being their voice and championing their well-being every day
✔ Facilitating adoption connections, helping children find loving, permanent homes
✔ Partnering with community agencies, ensuring families have access to the right supports and services
✔ Demonstrating care and commitment to colleagues by collaborating and showing up for each other in times of need
Social work is more than a profession—it is a calling. Our service teams’ ability to show up, adapt, and provide unwavering support in so many different settings is what makes our work at CCAS so impactful.
This March, we encourage CCAS service teams to take a moment to reflect on the difference you make in the lives of those we serve. Your work is valued, your dedication is appreciated, and your impact is immeasurable.
Thank you for all that you do.
